Welcome to Apna Solar. By accessing or using our website, services, consultation, installation work, or any solar-related solution provided by Apna Solar, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
These terms are created specifically for Indian users and applicable under Indian law.

1. General Overview

1.1 Apna Solar (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides solar consultation, installation, and related services in Chandigarh and surrounding regions.
1.2 By engaging with any of our services, you accept the terms outlined in this document.
1.3 All users/customers must read these Terms & Conditions carefully before proceeding with any purchase or installation.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 We provide:

  • Home and commercial solar system consultation

  • Solar system design

  • On-grid, off-grid, and hybrid system installation

  • Net metering support

  • After-sales service (if opted)

  • AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) services (if purchased separately)

2.2 Apna Solar does NOT manufacture solar panels, inverters, batteries, structures, or any solar-related products.
We only install trusted-branded components chosen by the customer or recommended by us.

3. Product Warranty & Manufacturer Liability

3.1 All solar panels, inverters, batteries, structures, cables, MCBs, or any other product installed by Apna Solar are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty/guarantee only.

3.2 Apna Solar is NOT liable for:

  • Any internal product defect

  • Manufacturing defect

  • Performance failure of panels, inverters, or batteries

  • Breakdown, internal component failure, or quality-related issues

3.3 The manufacturing company is fully responsible for repair, replacement, or service as per their warranty terms.

3.4 In case of a defect, Apna Solar will assist the customer in coordinating with the manufacturer, but we are not responsible for the delay, approval, or outcome of the warranty claim.

3.5 Warranty will be valid only if:

  • Products are used as per manufacturer guidelines

  • Product is not tampered with

  • No third-party technician has handled or repaired the system

3.6 Any misuse, overload, water damage, or electrical fault inside customer premises is not covered under warranty.

4. Installation Warranty (Workmanship)

4.1 Apna Solar provides a limited installation/workmanship warranty (if mentioned in the invoice).
This includes:

  • Structural fitting quality

  • Wiring work accuracy

  • Inverter mounting

  • General installation safety

4.2 This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Damage caused by weather conditions such as storms, hail, rain, lightning

  • Damage due to customer modifications

  • Damage caused by external contractors

  • Fire, short circuits, or electrical fluctuations inside the building

5. Payments & Billing

5.1 All project quotes and installation charges will be provided through email, WhatsApp, or written communication.
5.2 Advance payment terms will be mentioned before project start.
5.3 Full payment must be cleared before system handover unless mutually agreed.
5.4 Any delay in payment may delay installation or support services.

6. Net Metering, Government Subsidy & Approvals

6.1 Apna Solar provides support for the net metering application, but approval is at the discretion of the concerned electricity authority.
6.2 We do NOT guarantee approval timelines, as they depend on government departments.
6.3 Government subsidies are subject to eligibility criteria and government regulations.
6.4 Apna Solar is not liable for any delay or rejection of subsidy or net metering applications by government bodies.

7. Maintenance & Cleaning

7.1 Regular cleaning and maintenance of panels is the responsibility of the customer unless AMC is purchased.
7.2 Dust, bird droppings, weather conditions, or improper maintenance may affect performance.
7.3 Apna Solar is not responsible for generation drop due to poor maintenance.

8. Electrical Load Changes

8.1 If the customer adds new electrical appliances (e.g., additional ACs), solar output may not match the new load.
8.2 In such cases, system upgrade may be required at additional cost.

9. Site Conditions & Safety

9.1 Customer must ensure safe access to the roof and installation area.
9.2 Any structural weakness in the building is the responsibility of the customer.
9.3 Apna Solar will not be responsible for damages caused by unstable structures.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Apna Solar shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profit

  • Downtime or operational losses

  • Electrical issues due to customer wiring

  • Damages caused by natural disasters

  • Damages caused by local electricity fluctuations

10.2 Total liability of Apna Solar (if any) shall not exceed the installation fees paid by the customer.

11. Cancellation & Refunds

11.1 Cancellation before project start may allow partial refund (subject to material already purchased).
11.2 Once installation has begun, no refund will be issued.

12. Updates to Terms

12.1 Apna Solar reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
12.2 Updated terms will be posted on the website.

13. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by Indian law, and any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Chandigarh.
